Disadvantages of this job

There are very few disadvantages of becoming a police officer but very serious. There is a chance where you can be shot at in a point in your career, your life could be on the line trying to save other lives during a shooting or other life threatening situations, you could be working long and late hours depending on your department, and it is a thankless job, it is your duty to protect people and catch lawbreakers and you often don’t get thank-you’s for doing it.
