Occupational Outlook

Job opportunities in most local police departments will be favorable for qualified individuals, whereas competition is expected for jobs in  Federal agencies. Employment changes all the time. Employment of police and detectives is expected to grow 10 percent over the 2008–18 decade, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Population growth is the main source of demand for police service.

 

 There was one job opening for this career but there are also many job openings to become a security guard which is a step or two below a police officer if you don’t make it. ( i only found one job advertisment but you could also just apply at anytime to any police force and if they need you they will hire you)
